The North Queensland Business Women Awards 2011

The Townsville Business Women's Network's Annual Business Women's Awards recognise, congratulate and celebrate the business, career and working women in North Queensland who are at the forefront of their field, for their exceptional skills, business accruement, expertise, leadership, mentorship and their commitment to our community.

Each year Townsville business owners support these awards in the form of participation as Alliance partner in these awards, highlighting their commitment to the community at large and to the business and career women in our region. Since the inceptions of these Awards in 1995 our Alliance Partners support has been second to none and has allowed these Awards to be such a success for all involved.

The North Qld Business Women Awards 2011 Gala Awards Presentation Evening will be held on 24 March 2012. With Judging Commencing in November and being competed in January 2012. The TBWN Executive Committee remain committed to recognising the value of International Women’s day celebrations worldwide and are happy to have a small part to play by holding the Gala Awards Presentation for our annual awards during what is a significant annual celebration for business, career and working women.

These awards are now in their 16th year and during that period it has acknowledged the contribution its nominees and winners have bought to our region and has recognized the talent of the women in our region and established role models for our young women to emulate as they move into their careers or own businesses.

Past Nominees and Entrants will be the first to tell you, the journey through the Nomination and Entry sections has assisted them in recognising their strengths and their achievements, which often go unrecognised due to the sheer work load of each day. The reflection of all aspects of their business or career through these Awards has assisted them to grow and develop either their business or careers.

The Townsville business community recognises these awards as a highlight in the annual Townsville business calendar and the support shown by all aspects of the community is second to none.
