Carolyn McManus - The Coffee Club

Carolyn became Franchisee with The Coffee Club Stockland Townsville in June 2006. Carolyn had enjoyed a successful career in Banking however made the decision to go into business for herself. A Franchise was the preferred option and The Coffee Club stood out as the right match. Her second Coffee Club opened at Domain Central in March 2008. By this time there was also a third daughter. In May 2009 her third Coffee Club opened on The Strand Townsville and their first Cafe Bar Restaurant version. Her husband David continues in his profession as a Doctor however has reduced hours to assist with family and business needs. Carolyn’s will open her forth Coffee Club at the Willows October 2009.

Entropy has a retail shop front in Flinders St West and an ecommerce site at www.entropy.com.au that stocks more than 2000 products with Australia wide distribution. Entropy has grown to become one of the best quality toy stores in Australia, and has shown that you can have a national presence even when based in a regional.

Anne Sanker - The Coloured House

Anne Sanker, together with her husband Mark own and operate The Coloured House, an innovative interior design studio that brings style and product accessibility of capital cities to the Townsville region. The Coloured House has been operating for 10 years and has evolved from a home-based business venture to a large commercial operation on Hamill Street in Garbutt. Anne's roles range from coordinating the running of the business, preparing quotes, ordering materials, training staff and consulting directly with clients throughout the Townsville, Burdekin, Ingham and Charters Towers regions. Anne works with designing the interior of properties ranging from display homes, commercial buildings and domestic homes with a difference.

Madonna Simmons

Madonna Simmons currently holds the position of Manager, Commercial & Property at Townsville Airport. Her resume includes 20 years experience in Marketing, Business and Shopping Centre Management. Madonna's previous positions have allowed her to establish extensive knowledge in tenant and partner relationship with all level of stakeholders. Madonna's career has extended into the area of Commercial Management at Townsville Airport where she is responsible for the management of the terminal, car parks and all property. Madonna has studied both with James Cook University, School of Tourism Tafe and the Property Council of Australia. Madonna is currently a serving board member on the Townsville Chamber of Commerce, the Australian Institute of Management and recently worked on the Townville 400 V8 Committee as well as numerous other community boards and committees.
